Little Easy

Because time is of the essence, we kindly ask you to help us in packing your donations for easily sorting and distribution, ensuring the correct items get delivered to suit each victim's personal needs. Please label all packages you donate.  These photos may help you.

Please only donate items in GOOD CONDITION or better.  (Please donate decent, wearable (no rips or heavily stained).  "work clothing" is okay, as many of the hurricane victims will have much clean up to complete before they can go home again.  However, PLEASE CLEARLY MARK these items as "Work Clothes".

To help us in the sorting of donations, we ask you to package your items in a specific manner.

Package CLOTHING items by ONE SIZE / ONE person, only in each bag / package.
Here are a a few examples of how your labels should read:

example 1:  FEMALE, size 16, athletic, 3 Shirts, 2 shorts, 3 socks, 1 baseball cap, Black + Greys
example 1:  FEMALE, size 12, work / office,  2 shirts, 2 skirts, 1 slip, 2 scarfs, Florals

example 1:  MALE, Medium, 32x30, 1 jeans, 2 shorts, 4 t-shirts, 2 underwear, 5 prs socks
example 1:  BOY CHILD, age 8, small size, 2 shorts, 3 shirts, 2 socks

Package SHOEs separately. Please mark size clearly.  Please tie each pair to its mate, either with their own laces/velcro or string/yarn.

Package BRAs separately. Please mark size clearly.  If possible, please place, one each, in ziplock baggie.

Thank you for taking the time to consider donation clothing or luggage to help the recent hurricane victims of Delta and Laura, 2020.

After Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we too went through exactly what the residents of Calcasieu Parish are experiencing now.  Remembering "I don't even have a nightgown!" and carrying around important documents and toiletries in zip-locks freezer bags, sparked this mission to help others now.

Please remember all your donations are 100% tax-deductible.
